Description

The prophecy foretold that the dragon’s imprisonment would last a thousand years. Now that age is ending, and the ultimate evil is rising. Daniel Talbot is one of many raptured believers serving in the royal court of Jesus during the prophesied Millennial Kingdom age. Daniel never expected to be part of a counter-espionage team, but he and his fellow immortals are called upon to use every skill they possess in the fight against evil. Mixing sci-fi with amazing prophecies from the Bible about the end-time, Doug Joseph takes readers on a fast-paced adventure that looks at humanity, demons, prophecy, and salvation.

Book One was just excellent. I never wanted to put the book down. This is one book that keeps you on your edge and entertained. So looking forward to Book Two of the three book set.

 New Immortal

New Immortal [Book One of the Skyport Chronicles] by Doug Joseph made for some entertaining and thought provoking reading for me these past few cold winter nights. I appreciate the thorough Scripture research reflected in this story of what the Millennial Reign with Jesus Christ could be like. After years of Bible study I have thought deeply about the hereafter and realize that life during the thousand years of peace on earth might be just as Mr. Joseph depicts in this novel. Anyone who enjoys a little reach from the usual content of Christian literature should sit back, relax, and take a peek into the future from the author's perspective. Just be sure to keep your mind open to the possibilities that await you as you step from reality to the world of imagination. I'm looking forward to reading Book Two.

"New Immortal" is a must read book for everyone! What a ride! From the restoration and reformation of the planet to the closing out of the Millennial reign of Christ, this book will have you on the edge of your seat. This book is power packed with an incredible knowledge of scriptures of the soon coming Day of the Lord's Wrath, with the understanding of the massive destruction that will have ensued following this time of the Lord's Wrath, as well as the scriptures that pertain to the Millennial reign of Christ. An intriguing book that is brilliantly written. Once you begin reading it, you won't be able to put it down!

A Real Blast (and clean & suitable for YA readers)

By AS (WV)

This author has a knack for building faith. This book is a great narrative way to consider how some of the prophecies in the Bible could be fulfilled.

 I love this book!

By MaryB (Charleston, WV)

New Immortal, by Doug Joseph, is a riveting book that kept me on the edge of my seat, with anticipation of what was going to happen next. Being totally engulfed in the story, anxiously wanting to know what was happening, I caught myself yelling at the author. The storyline is something dear to my heart and Doug Joseph's imagination of the 1000 years of peace after the devil is locked up, and what happens when he is released, is just how it could be. I lived in that book, as the count down of year, month, day and hour approached the end of the age! I look forward to reading the second book in the series, Tesseract, which I hope to start soon.
